Dr. Martin Luther King Day Third Monday in January "We will not resort to violence. We will not degrade ourselves with hatred.Love will not be returned with hate." ——Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Born on this day in 1929,the African-American clergyman Dr.Martin Luther King. In1963,during the massive March on Washington,King gave the famous “I Have a Dream” speech at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial.”King's assassination in April 1968in Memphis,Tennessee, sent shock waves around the world. In succeeding years, various cities and then states made King's birthday a legal holiday. Now a national holiday in the United States,it serves as the focus for discussions, national as well as international, about the issues King held dear, and a bout the progress--or lack of same--achieved since King had his dream.
I think he is the the hero for the world. In order to his dream that he sacrificed himself. He has the courage very much. I think he is the idol of the world. Of course, he is a good example for me.

Hi Fanny. Congratulations on your first blog entry! Is there a someone in China who is like Martin Luther King? I would be very interested to read about that person on your blog.
